I was really happy with all of our engagment pictures, but this one was the winner.

At least the one that was sent to most of you with our invitations! I hope you all kept this picture, scrapbooked it, hung it up, etc. Okay just kidding! Can't believe A-ron and I have almost been married for 14 whole months! CRAZINESS!

I have this picture hanging on my desk and it just makes me happy! Whenever I am feeling down I just have to look at my STUD of a husband and I SMILE and I feel better! I really never have anything to blog about but at least I posted a picture this time! I have been kinda bad at the post a day thing, my life really is not that exciting to post that often. I am sure I could come up with creative posts, but nah!

Easter Cupcakes

I made these cupcakes for Primary on Sunday! I thought that a Butterfly is such a great reminder of the resurrection of our Savior! It was great to teach the Primary kids on Sunday, they are so much fun to be around and I am so happy to be apart of such a great organization. Enjoy!

Wow, it has been four weeks since A-ron has left and I really did not even think I could get through a month and I have, I am pretty proud of my-self. I was making cupcakes on Saturday and I got a package on our doorstep it was a box full of beautiful Sunflowers from A-ron. They are beautiful, happy, Spring flowers that were perfect for Easter. It was really thoughtful of A-ron to think of me during his training and finding time to send me something, it really ment alot. I was also happy that A-ron got his package before he left to the field on Friday before Easter. I had a nice weekend spending time with family and friends. It was a weekend full of Easter things such as: dying easter eggs, family dinner, great church messages and lots of yummy treats.

I really don't think people know how much I appreciate their friendship and kindness, I feel so blessed. So thanks again to all my family and friends for being so good to me! Easter is such a great time to reflect on our Savior! I am getting really excited for conference and I can't wait to be filled with great messages from our apostles and propeht. I hope everyone had a great weekend!

347, 346, 345, 344 Days Until A-ron Gets Home, Three Weeks, and Happy St. Patrick's Day

A-ron has been gone for three weeks, yippy! Just about 4 more weeks until I get to see him for a couple of days. Life has been great just keeping busy. I hope everyone had a Happy St. Patrick's Day, I totally forgot to wear green. Good thing lots of others who I work with forgot as well. No one got pinched! Just thought I would do a quick little update.

350,349, 348 Days Left Until A-ron Gets Home... The Countdown Continues

It feels so great to know that I am out of the fifties and into the forties, every day is one day closer until I get to see A-ron in April. He comes home on April 23rd at about 8:00 PM and he leaves Sunday, April 27th at 3:00 PM. We are going to St. George for the weekend to get away and just relax and have fun. I really can't wait.

So last night when I was talking to A-ron he insisted that I go to the store to buy one of my favorite movies "Dan in Real Life," I really enjoy this movie and I think I could watch it over and over again. I watched it last night! I recommend it to anyone who has not seen it! Great movie.
This Saturday will be the third Saturday in a row where Mindi has had a baby shower, I love knowing that my Saturday's are busy! Then after that I am going shopping in Park City with some friends of my from the ward. How great is that? I am pretty excited! All I have to say is TGIF, Thank Goodness It is Friday!

354,353,352,351 Days Left Until A-ron Gets Home and Two Weeks

Well I am back after about three days, I have been slacking on my countdown. LOL! Well today marks two weeks and it feels good to have the first two weeks done. It did not go fast but it still is nice to know that I got through it. It was a great weekend full of fun activities. Saturday Mindi had another baby shower at my Grandma Lindsey's house in centerville and it was so fun and she got lots of great things. The silly person that I am I left my coat in Centerville with my keys inside the pocket, this is the second time I have left my coat somewhere were the drive was longer than 15 minutes away. I also had my spare in my coat pocket as well. When am I going to learn my lesson?The nice Aunt that I have she met me half way and I was able to get my keys and coat. Thanks Mom for driving me back and thanks to my Aunt for meeting me half way. That is just a funny story for everyone. The really funny part about this story is earlier that morning my mom drove to Alpine for a wedding ceremony at the Timpanoges Temple then she had to drive home and take us to Centerville for the shower then we drove back to Alpine for the reception after the shower and then I forgot my keys so she had to drive me back up North to pick them up. So my Mom really was in the car for most of the day! Kinda funny! After the shower, reception and picking up my keys I was able to hang out with one of nicest people I know. She is a lady in my ward and I serve with her in the Primary Presidency we hung out because her husband was out of town and mine is too. LOL! (Like everyone did not already know that) So I picked up some Cafe Rio for dinner and we played with her kids, watched a movie and talked. I am so glad that I have great friends to occupy my time while A-ron is gone. Thanks Becca! Well that was my weekend, and last night Mindi had her 3rd baby shower and it was great times. She got the cutest bathing suit for little Whitney. Sorry for the lack of pictures! Thanks to all of those who leave comments, I live for comments they are so fun!

356, 355 Days Left Until A-ron Gets Home and Olive Garden

Last night I was able to go to dinner with two of my favorite people, Chelsea and Brekke. When we were in Highschool we would always go to Olive Garden at least once a month so we decided to drive down to Provo to meet Brekke at the Olive Garden. It is funny cause on our way home Chelsea and I were talking and we came to the conclusion that neither of us really like Olive Garden but we go there because it is tradition, so maybe next time we will break tradition and go somewhere new and exciting. We had a great night, catching up on life and enjoying each others company. I love it when you laugh so hard your tummy hurts, well that is how I felt. I really needed that last night, it helped me get through a tough day. I am so so so happy I have Chelsea and Brekke as friends, they are so sweet and fun! It was a great night, full of wonderful memories!

This weekend Mindi has another baby shower, which I am really excited for! Tonight I am going to my Grandma's house to help her with Mindi's shower on Monday. I love my Grandma she is so sweet she called me on Wednesday and told me not to eat before I came up because she was making me dinner, how thoughtful! Well it should be a great weekend. I live for the weekends, they go too fast!

A-ron got his package in the mail yesterday and I was so excited that he finally got it. I love sending and writing letters to A-ron, it is so fun! A-ron did tell me that he shared some of his candy with his friends, what a nice guy! A-ron got a day off yesterday and he was able to go and visit Seatlle, he had lots of fun and said that Seattle was beautiful.

The Next DaVinci

So last night after the gym I went to my mom's house to help her babysit for like an hour. The family that my mom babysat is the cutest. The little boy drew A-ron and I the cutest pictures. I just love little kids, they are so fun and they are so creative. I think we might have a future DaVinci on our hands.

358 Days Left Until A-ron Gets Home, Baby Shower, and More

I am happy to announce that it has been one week since A-ron left, I am not going to lie it has been the longest week ever. WOW! It has been busy so that is always good. Mindi had her first baby shower on Saturday. Rochelle and I threw her a ward shower, it was very fun and the food was yummy. We have such an awesome ward full of great women, I am so glad that I have been able to make such great friends. They have all been so supportive and have really helped me through this last week. Mindi got a lot of great things, and I am so excited to meet my little neice.

This is the invitation I made for our ward shower. You would not be able to tell from the invitation that Mindi is having a "girl" but she is. Her nursery colors are yellow, brown and blue. Saturday I also was able to go up to my Grandma L's house to go and visit my Grandpa's grave site, it has been a year since he passed away. Then we went to dinner with my grandma, aunt and cousins. It was so fun and it is always good to see everyone and catch up. I have the best family!
