"Knead" we say more...

On Saturday Aaron and I went to lunch at Kneaders, hence the title of this post, I know clever. JK! Well I was trying really hard to be as cool as Aaron and balance my spoon but it took me a long time to figure it out so as soon as I did I had to take a picture. We had a yummy lunch and then went to my brothers football game, they played great. He won, GO HUSKIES!
I got Aaron to take a serious picture at lunch, finally! See that bruise under his eye, we got in a big fight and it shows that I won. Okay not really he just has a weird rash.
Our weekend was such a blast, we were really busy, but enjoyed our weekend.

Tres Hombres Friday

Every Friday Aaron and I go to Tres Hombres, it is a really yummy mexican restaurant, just down the street from where I work. Aaron does not work on Friday's so it is the perfect day for Aaron and I to go to lunch during my lunch break. We get really excited. They also have the best chips and salsa. I am going to miss all of our traditions when Aaron leaves to Afghanistan in February, it is going to be really hard, but he is serving our country so that makes it okay. Well I only have about an hour until we get to go to Tres Hombres, YIPPY!

Temple Night

Here is a picture of Aaron and I from last night. Aaron is pointing to the temple just in case you could not tell.

Last night was such a blast. We went to the Salt Lake Temple to do a session at 8:00 pm, it was so amazing and seriously so beautiful. After the temple we went to Sonic to get ice cream but Jed and Aaron ended up getting a whole meal, plus ice-cream. The waitress also made us two extra Oreo and Reeses Blasts, so we got double the ice-cream. After we ate our ice-cream, breakfast burritos, fries, etc we went back to Jed and Missy's so I could download Office onto Jed's computer. I could not believe how tired I was and it was only 11:45 PM, way past my bed time. It is so funny how in highschool and in college how you could stay up late, even when Aaron and I were dating we would stay up late watching movies, talking and goofin off until 2:00 AM. Now I am tired at 9:00 PM and I do not even have any kids, well it is kind of interesting. Anyway, last night was fun.

This weekend should be fun as well, I guess I could find a new word then fun, amazing and awesome but I can't think of anything. Tonight we are going with Aaron's Grandma to a church event where lots of religions in the community get together and a member of each faith gets up and gives a little talk. It should be interesting, and hanging out with Grandma Hilton is the best. On Saturday I will be at South Towne mall collecting food for the food drive, my work has teamed up with the Utah Food Bank. The Food bank is really low right now, so for a month we have been doing a huge campaign. Call me if you want anymore information it will be going until September 28th. After the mall we are going to the REAL game, because with participating in the food drive, if you take a bag of food to the game you get half off on your tickets. It has really been fun helping those out in need. Well that is all for today, it has been a very busy but fun week.

I really love this blogging thing, even though no one reads it, it is my way to keep a journal. So I am going to keep it up. Thank you to those who do read my blog.

Terrific Thursday Temple Night

I am really EXCITED for tonight because Aaron and I our going to the Salt Lake Temple to do a session with Missy and Jed. I love going to the temple, it is always such a great experience. I always think of the awesome primary song."I love to see the temple." Our Sunbeams love singing that song, they all know it by heart. Wow we are so lucky. Well maybe I can snap some shots of us at the temple and post them. That is all for today.

Check out this puppy!

I am so jealous this is my friend Missy with her new puppy, Rudy, he is so adorable.
Rudy- He just melts my heart.
He is a King Charles and he will be the newest member of Jed and Missy's family.
CONGRATULATIONS.

Damien Rice Concert

Megan & Aaron-
We could be characters in the "Twilight" series with our red eyes. We could be Vampires, "I want to suck your blood!" (HA, HA), We would be good Vampires though.
Damien Rice- The concert was so awesome. We had a lot of fun.
Megan & Aaron- Once again we could be apart of the Cullen family with our Red Eyes.

Tuesday night
We went to the Damien Rice concert with Greg and his date Nikki on Tuesday night, we had a lot of fun. He put on a great concert, and he was also really funny. So once again Aaron and I had a fun night and we enjoyed each other company.

What we have been up to...

Aaron and I had a really fun weekend. On Friday I got home a little late from work, because it has seriously been crazy, but I enjoy being busy it makes my day go faster. Well we went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack, I do not like sea food but I really like their Chicken Fingers. Afterwards we went to Jordan Commons right across the street and saw Return with Honor. The movie had a really good message, it was a little cheesy, but the message was so awesome. It really taught me to not judge others, you never know their circumstances. After that we went to Dan & Katie's apartment and hung out with some friends. It was a really good night. On Saturday I had a friends baby shower, it was crazy to be going to one of my high school friends baby shower. So weird. It was really fun, and her baby is so so cute. After that Aaron and I went to Grandma Hilton's house and Aaron made us dinner. He is such an amazing cook, good thing! After that we played 7 up and we played until I at least won one game. So lets just say we played alot of times. It was such a blast. Sunday's are my favorite day, I love going to church, teaching my Sunbeams and going to dinner at either my mom's house or in-laws. We had two dinners on Sunday, which were both so so yummy. After dinner we played Balderdash with Aaron's family and we laughed the whole time, that game rules. Well it was a fantastic weekend. I should have taken pictures of our awesome weekend because I know that looking at pictures is way more fun then reading my boring blogs.
Tonight we are going to the Damien Rice concert, so I am sure it will be fun. Well that is all for today.

Keith Urban Concert

Megan & Aaron goofing off at Keith Urban concert- We could not get a serious face picture, Aaron would smile and I would goof off or I would smile and Aaron would goof off. It was such a blast
Here is my serious face and Aaron's goof off picture. So silly
Megan's Zoolander pose
Aaron's Zoolander pose
Right after this picture my camera died, so I was not even able to get any pictures of Keith Urban, it was such a bummer. The concert was so fun, it was probably one of the best concerts I have ever been to. We had a ton of fun! Thanks Aaron for the fun night.

Keith Urban Concert

I am so EXCITED because Aaron and I get to go to Keith Urban on September 11th, which is tomorrow. He bought the tickets for my birthday clear back in May, so I have been waiting for this for a while. I can't wait to spend a fun night with Aaron.

Military Ball

This picture represents all the soldiers who have served our country who have died in battle.

Megan & Aaron- This is Aaron's Dress Uniform

Greg & Aaron- Aaron served with Greg in Iraq and they have stayed great friends

It has been a really busy week since the last time I posted. Work has been really busy, Aaron is busy with school, and I am busy with church callings as well. So this weekend was really fun on Friday night Aaron's work had a Military ball at UVFC, where I met people he works with at the National Guard headquarters and we enjoyed a yummy dinner. It was really neat to see all the men and women who serve our country so we can continue to live in such a wonderful nation. It was a really memorable night.

Aaron's Poetry

This is the picture that Aaron describes in this poetry.
I had to post this! Aaron wrote this and I wanted to share it with the few people that look and read my blog. He has some great writing skills ( he is working on a book, he has three paragraphs) Go AaRoN!
So I just wanted to take a minute to describe an image that I'm looking at.
Everything is calm, it's still as if the whole world has come to a hault just for this one moment. Even the forces of nature have been suspended, there's not a breeze, not even a bird that moves gracefully through the air. The sun hangs high in the sky. It shines brightly and kisses the skin ever so slightly of those who are in it's presence. The sun's rays are eternally expanding, spreading it's magnificent glow throughout the entire valley as if to say "hello" to those who are affected by it's glow. Below the sun sits a crowd, a group of people who have come together to encourage, enforce, and to take part of a common ritual. The crowd is motionless, however it is not without emotion. A whirlwind of feelings, anger, happiness, joy, confusion collide and bounce around the air. They each have a story to tell, a story that they want to tell, a story that is bursting out of them to let it self be known to the world. To inform the world of where it's been, it's experiences. It's chaos and commotion yet everything is peaceful.
Especially in the air around two specific individuals. There is warmth, love, an aurora surrounds them that emits a lack of concern. The two sit amongst many, many who are still as if they were immortalized in that specific moment in time. The two sit close, they appear to be a couple. The man has his arm around the woman pulling her into him self as if trying so desperately to make them a whole, to make them one eternal being. He is radiant, the sun highlighting his features, gracing him with a magnificent glow. He is happy. A smile eases his way to his face and looks as natural as if it would be there for all time and eternity. His eyes are strong, they show confidence, but have a slight sign of weakness, compassion, and love.
The woman sits next to the man sub missing her self and giving into the mans grasp. Her body says take me and shows no struggle of becoming one being with the man. She is small and fragile but shows a strength, a strength of security and perseverance. She is like wise as happy. Her features stand out and her beauty is inescapable. Her beauty overshadows those of the man.
She shines brighter than even the glow of the sun. Her smile is as if God him self came down and blessed her with all of his imperfections. She is pure, delicate, and soft. The two are a couple and they are happy. She completes the man as her completes her, they are one eternal bond unaffected by the world around them. They are Megan and Aaron Hilton.
What I just wrote was a description of us at the BYU football game. I don't know if you can recall the picture but that was my best attempt to recreate and to describe it for you. I love you and hope that your day is going well.
I can't wait to see you tonight.

So that is the awesome description he came up with for a certain picture he has posted of us at his office. I will post it on my blog for all to see. The picture is posted on the top of this post. How many times can I say post? HA HA

Bryce Canyon
Our Trip was so much fun! We arrived late Friday night due to the high volume of traffic on our way out. On Saturday morning we woke up early and went on an awesome hike. I took so many awesome pictures but did not want to post everything. After the hike we chilled on a picnic table and sat and chatted. The day ended with a Rodeo and a nice dinner. Sunday we went and looked at all the view points and then went to church at 3:00. It was in the lodge, it was pretty sweet. Then we had a lovely dinner at the lodge. We then returned to our hotel room, played games and had a baton throwing contest. You would have to be there to understand. It seriously was such a blast. My family rocks. Thank you Mom & Grandma for another fun vacation.

Our Dog Toby

I have not posted a picture of our dog, Toby, so here he is. This picture is not really good, I took it and it went all wacko, so I will have to take another one. He is seriously so so so cute and I love him so much. Every morning while I eat breakfast he curls up next to me while I eat. He makes me so happy. He is very loyal and he is my personal alarm clock; he wakes me up every morning at 6:45 am for our daily walk/run. MAN DOES HE HAVE ME TRAINED!
